<InsertComic Super-DaveBook blurbClub here>was started by David Yoon in 2004 due to his passion of drawing manga, Japanese comics. He always wanted to create a club for it and make a magazine much like Shonen Jump, a weekly magazine in Japan containing several titles of manga, and hoped that it could be widely distrubuted throughout the school like the hatchat. He finally approached Mr.Coleman,an art teacher, with this idea and became the sponser for the club. The club started out small with a few members and it was rather difficult to hold meetings and have the comics ready for distrubution on time. But the following year, things began to move smoother as more members joined and David Yoon managed to find a more efficent way to do things. The club continues to grow every year with more members and fans. As of 2006, was the founder and president's, David Yoon, last run. He is now relieved of this duty and has left his position to Hannah Silcox, the current leader of Comic Book Club.
